ABOUT SLOVENIA-SEURA

Slovenia-seura, Friends of Slovenia in Finland, is an registered association established 1999. Slovenia-seura offers various activities.

 

The aim of Slovenia-seura is to promote Slovenia and Slovenian culture in Finland and maintain a firm friendship between Finns and Slovenes. Slovenia-seura is regularly taking part to MATKA Nordic Travel Fair in Helsinki.

 

Slovenia-seura has organised various public presentations, travel events, language training and lectures about Slovenia, Slovenian history, architecture, food and culture.  We also organise a wine trip to Slovenia  once a year.

 

Important part of our association’s work is answering various questions and inquiries concerning living, housing, studying, taxing, healthcare, public transportation etc in the countries and coming from private people needing the information, both in Finland and in Slovenia.
